Ochocinco brings Motorola Android Tablet to Super Bowl 2011

Chad Ochocinco plays for the Cincinnati Bengals and has been promoting Motorola already at the Super Bowl 2010 with the OCNN network. Ochocinco is a very "connected" NFL player. His Twitter account has over 1.5 million followers.

Motorola and its partners (Verizon?) will have to unlock marketing hell to make any impact with the new Tegra 2 Android Honeycomb based tablet against the Apple iPad. The Super Bowl XLV is the ideal venue to spend big marketing bucks and also have the chance to reach a large number of consumers.

Super Bowl 2011 takes place on February 6th. I assume that Motorola will ship the new Android Tablet they announce at CES 2011 around that time. If not, a Super Bowl ad would be a not very effective investment. The new Motorola Tablet is ideally already available for purchase during the big game.

He came with a prototype Motorola Android tablet, running a dual-core Nvidia chip and Honeycomb, the next iteration of Android. And he used it to show off a forthcoming update to Google’s mobile maps application.

Motorola Android Tablet with Honeycomb takes the Stage

25/motorola-tablet-stingray-coming">Motorola Stingray Android Honeycomb Tablet. The upcoming Android Honeycomb release is considered to be the first real Tablet OS flavor from the Android camp. The Motorola Stingray has likely the same size as the Apple iPad.

It is not clear when this Motorola Honeycomb tablet will ship. Engadget snapped a couple photos of Mr. Rubin holding the Stingray Tablet sitting on stage at D: Dive into Mobile.

Google had a big announcement day yesterday. The Nexus S with Gingerbread (Android 2.3) is official and will be on sale in time for Christmas. Additionally Google launched the Google eBook Store with several bargain eBook deals that will put pressure on the Amazon Kindle store.
